Archaeological finds

everal pieces of simple Russian pots and a single piece of a field flask represent the short period of occupation by the Russian troops at Padise (1576–1580). Only some shards of the richly decorated stoneware and an intact ointment jar come from the crown manor period. The pieces of Duingen ointment jars, ceramic bottles of mineral water and clay pipes, besides the shards of various faience and porcelain ware date from the period when the manor was owned by the von Ramm family.

Although there are no larger samples of the mostly green-coloured Renaissance-style glazed tiles, the finds include several intact specimens of the black-coloured glazed tiles with foliage ornament from the second half of the 17th or the beginning of the 18th centuries.
